Last night I was thinking of how close we are to school starting again - and of course, the way school funding is - that brought to mind that we will soon be doing a lot of school fund raisers. We are lucky, in that the charter school our youngest goes to, doesn't do your typical fund raisers. So we aren't out there at the same time as all the other kids trying to sell the same merchandise. However, it also means that we have to be more creative!
So I was thinking of different things we could do, and one idea was to do a "Cookie Swap." We could set it up as a silent auction - and bid for your favorite plates of cookies!
To take it a step further - why not include a binder with blank recipe cards?
Or add your own personal touch with chubby business cards? On one side you could add as much or as little contact information as you like and on the other the recipe used for your cookies! A great idea to avoid any food allergy problems! This is also an awesome idea if you have a catering company, or just bake goods at home for a little extra money! A bit of free advertising for your services!

To go along with this idea, I'm going to set up a 'virtual cookie swap' for hopefully later this week - and bring you some of the Zazzle Storekeeper's favorite recipes and their favorite binders for keeping them organized!
